Parcel shipping policy

You can use the parcel shipping service by bus for practically any size of envelopes and boxes.

Maximum weight : 75 pounds or 34 kilos.

Maximum size : 7' long X 44" wide X 30" high or
3.1 m long X 1.2 m wide X 0.8 m high

Identification : the name, address, and phone number of the sender and the receiver must be clearly written on the parcel.

Important information :

• A maximum of 5 parcels can be shipped under the same bus bill.
• Autobus Drummondville Ltée can use its right to open and check the content of any parcel.
• The delivery is made as fast as possible to the bus terminal or the agency of destination.
• The receiver will be contacted promptly of the arrival of the parcel.
• Additional fees will be requested for the door-to-door service where available.

Responsibility limitations

Expédibus and/or Autobus Drummondville Ltée do not commit to carry or deliver a parcel within a pre-determined number of days. Expédibus and/or Autobus Drummondville Ltée cannot be held responsible for the following situations :

• Breakdowns, bad road conditions, bad weather
• Strikes, accident or any other circumstances beyond their control.

Insurance

• The sender must declare the value of the merchandise to be carried.
• Expédibus and/or Autobus Drummondville Ltée's responsibility is limited to a maximum of $100 for every shipment if no other additional insurance has been paid for.
• For every shipment that exceeds the limit of responsibility, an additional two ($2.00) dollars must be paid for every additional one hundred ($100.00) dollars in value up to a maximum of one thousand ($1000.00) dollars.
• Any parcel, which value exceeds one thousand (1000.00) dollars, will be shipped at the sender's risks.
• The insurance covers only the break or the loss of a good.
